Job Description

Exciting opportunities have arisen for quality Technicians to join us at Vans Northwest Ltd.

We will offer you a full time (45 hours per week) permanent job. This role will be full time, working 8.30am-6pm Monday - Friday but will require some overtime capability usually on Saturday mornings on a rota basis.

Starting rate of pay: negotiable depending on experience and ability, starting from £10 p/h rising to £13 per hour for a fully qualified, Master Techs with MOT tester status, plus a team-orientated productivity and best practice Bonus scheme of Circa £3500 per annum if all levels are achieved.

The opportunity comes with a conditional offer of an option on a works Van.

The opportunity

We are currently looking for experienced Vehicle technicians to join our team. Reporting to the Service Controller, the successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out diagnostic work, repairs and servicing of all vehicles in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications, ensuring every customer receives excellent customer service.

This position will be a perfect fit for someone who enjoys working in an active, physical role, has meticulous attention to detail and is a fantastic team player, and looking to progress and develop to the highest possible levels attainable in the industry.

• Carrying out diagnosis, repairs, servicing and MOTs to the highest standards
• Delivering high levels of quality and customer service at all times
• Ensuring all work is carried out observing all health and safety measures
• Delivering and collecting a variety of vehicles in keeping with the category of your licence entitlement

Valeters

Job Description

We will offer you a full time (45 hours per week) permanent job. This role will be full time, working 8.30am-6pm Monday - Friday and will include some weekend work.

Starting rate of pay: negotiable depending on experience, starting from £9 p/h

The opportunity

We are currently looking for a Vehicle Valeter to join our team. The successful candidate will predominantly be an on-site valeter, but will also have some driving responsibilities. You’ll be working outside and inside in all weathers to ensure new and used vehicles in our workshop are cleaned to a high standard.

As a Valeter you may also deal with customers and moving vehicles around the dealership. You will provide a high level of customer service while delivering and collecting a wide variety of vehicles customers. In this role you'll be working as part of a team to ensure vehicles are ready.

Valet experience is preferred but not essential, training can be provided for a candidate who demonstrates a high level of enthusiasm and the other required criteria.

This position will be a perfect fit for someone who enjoys working in an active, physical role, has meticulous attention to detail and is a fantastic team player.

• Preparation of new and used vehicles for display
• Cleaning of customer vehicles that have been in our workshop
• Cleaning the inside and outside of vehicles
• Checking stock levels of cleaning equipment
• Delivering and collecting a variety of vehicles in keeping with the category of your licence entitlement
• Inspecting vehicles up on delivery to ensure that any defects or damage is recorded, agreed and signed for by the delivery company
